Monthly Update???
hahaha.. i see this title of mine,, it's exactly one month since the last entry eh? ahahaha.. sorry guys for me not updating my blog regularly.. haha.. was being reminded quite a few times to blog but until now then blog..
currently now in school for LSCT FOC Prep Camp.. in the bunk now with the SGLs and AGLs.. now the feeling ofbeing a senior is so different from being a GL though u get to lead and cheer.. haha.. responsibility may have increased, you take on a more supervisory role rather than the 'sai kang' role? lol...
looking forward to going into the actual FOC which is tomorrow? lol..
for the past week, was busy with FOConvention 05/06.. both the full dress rehearsal and the actual day events.. man.. look so nice.. haha.. a lot of commitments i just realised myself.. sometimes even when i dun get to spend itme with my loved ones.. the event was a success i must say.. then there was a gathering of "Blanga" from SU FOC 05/06. lol.. was in SU FOC doing F & B. lol.. had super fun time as a lot of new friends are known, and better understanding of each other..
so all those stuff were carried forward to the Convention. Can say everything went well.. except for some things.. realised something.. i dun have the 'leader' image i had in the past when it comes to facing cadets.. although the peformers were nt my cadets and some are even older than me, i still cannot project myself as a leader.. is that a good thing or bad? maybe self-confidence is one factor.. if not i'm just working in a situation unknown to me before.. [the SU environment] still i find it unconvincing myself that i actually went through that..
also realised what i had told my specialists before about earning and gaining respect. it's definitely a hard thing for myself to do. haiz.. but i'm definitely trying my best to do that.. even among my peers which i'd known for the last 2 years like the LSCT GLs..
come to think of it since i first entered year 1.. i didn't expect myselfn to undergo such tremondous changes can i say? haha.. some of u may know that i didn't start out big in year 1.. was just an ordinary student u would find in JC.. find myself super nerdy even after 1 graduated from secondary school with a side parting? hahaha.. my first exposure to fun.. LSCT GLs..
all started out from knowing Yanjun, Brian and Edmund who went through FOC and asked me to join them for this CCA. i dun dare to say i came out big but i know changes definitely took place in me and i'm glad for the change. make me confirm my stand in the first place that i never regretted joining NP and into knowing such good friends..
then came into OB.. was made to challenge myself to the limit most of the time.. in terms of physical fitness, skills learnt, overseas exposure, human relations etc. make me more of an extrrovert. this i nv regretted too. u know things like how to tie knots, exposing yourself chances to plan for events, pushing yourself to the limit in which u nv thought it exist.
glad that i manage to know my mentor, who is a good fren of mine too.. Weishan..
in any case, i just conclude poly life is definitely a fun-filled experience, where u can''t just trade anything for the memories and experience u obtained from your poly life.. man.. i so miss my poly life.. in year 1..
so all these are what i had when i was in year 1... suddenly touching on my poly biblography. lol..
so came year 2.. my first FOC, as a GL.. haha.. had a chance to lead freshies into giving them fun and their only one-time memory as a freshie to know each other. well.. had my peice of fun too. during the 9-month training i had under Eugene who trained us.. our batch of GLs went through a lot, thick and skin.. and bondages formed and that's how i got my best fren in NP too? hahaha.. then met my current gf too.. she wss my freshie.. haha.. the world is definitely small... then had outings and all.. lol.. developed friendships.. a one meory which i nv forget is when at the last day of FOC, the group which i was in were really a group.. and so cool.. because of the trainign i underwent with my batch of GLs.. we really bonded and cried because the achievement we had, which is the completion of FOC and a lot of reflections too upon the end of the camp. ended our life then as a GL..
NCC... Zhonghua got the their 2nd Best Unit title in 5 years.. was so proud of them.. by then it wouldbe the highlight of my career in NCC as CLT.. so many things happened during thast time, was busy with SYF Opening Ceremony then.. so many complications thereafter.. like the giving up of 2 i/c when i had the chance to march with my school.. really felt a sense of loss after making the decision though i know i can't take back what i said.. still i'm proud of the person whom i gave the post too and do treat her as a good friend of mine..
Wanting to watch the Unit grow stronger and not deteriote to being a weak unit is what i want to see before i step down and upholding the principles of a leader, regardless of NCOs or cadets.
Relationship.. i love my darling dutifully, faithfully and will be willing to sacrifice anything for her.. she is the first one who really touched my heart to give all i have despite all the obstacles we faced and expecting more trials from God so that we may be strengthed.. oh yeah..
next is my involvement in SU la.. tok part in SU FOC and SU FOConvention 05/06.. well as explained above, i really love the ecxperience i had over with the guys. guys like Jovin, Yeo Han, Deborah, Casper, Peishi and other few.. thank you guys for the nice experience i had and will definitely look forward to seeing and working with u guys again.. how about we have a nice outing one of these days.. hehe..
now currently serving my attachment.. finding quite hard to balance too.. because of other commitments like NP_Soliel, NCC, church and other stuff.. wah.. i defintely will survive the trial man.. hahaha..
well.. that should be all for now.. will be back home on wednesday.. hahaha.. FOC finish by wed mah.. after that take a short break, renew muself and take on new trials and challenges set by God..
lastly to say.. I love God and my darling and all my frenz!!! =)
