Who says Christian life is ever easy?
well.. indeed as what the title had stated.. a life as a christian is never easy.. God just reminded me that today.. how? while i was doing my final year project..
today julian (my project partner) and i had planned to do some biochemical testings and doing the extraction of genomic DNA from some cultures that we revived 2 weeks ago.. here's what happened.
while we tried to run gel electrophoresis after extracting genomic dna from lysed, revived cells; we couldn't get any bands on the gel. --> means there's no DNA in the first place.. means.. what we cultured for the past 2 weeks might not be the halobacterium we wanted.. and what was grown in the cultures may not even be bacteria!! haiz.. sad.. like that 2 weeks of effort gone le.. was feeling a bit fustrated but amazingly not angry like how i used to when things just don't go right..
second thing was julian and i failed to see the more important steps before doing our biochemical testings. which was to grow up the positive and negative controls. so shitty.. failed to do it..
somehow it all just tell me that because what we are doing now it's based on our own strength, things may not seem to go right, or even go haywire! well.. think it is now.. this thought just came into my head that we should really see this as a trial. and learn to overcome it. heeee.. teaches us to also lean more to Him because He is our provider and all the glory that we have shall go to Him only.
think things are gonna start from beginning again.
apart from my project.. think things are still going well. still got jaslin's card to do.. die.. hahaha.. wonder how's her kayaking trip today? was supposed t go also but well.. project comes first.. hee. tomorrow meeting xue'er to buy box. jaslin will be in for a REAL surprise on her bday man. HAhahaha.. <-- evil laughter.. bleah.
